Empathy Solutions
A movement for the age of AI

Elucidation 2.0Sapere aude. Dare to know.

In 1784, Kant asked people to have the courage to think for themselves. Today an AI can explain almost anything to anyone, at any hour. Elucidation 2.0 is his call for that world: make use of your own intellect, with AI at your side, not in your place.

1784 Elucidation

Elucidation is the human being’s way out of their self-incurred tutelage. Tutelage is the inability to make use of one’s intellect without the guidance of another. Self-incurred is this tutelage when the cause of it lies not in a lack of intellect, but in a lack of resolve and of courage to make use of it without the guidance of another. Sapere aude! Have courage to make use of your own intellect! is thus the motto of Elucidation.

Immanuel Kant (our translation)

2026 Elucidation 2.0

Elucidation 2.0 is the human being’s way out of their self-incurred ignorance. Ignorance is the inability to understand the world although its knowledge lies open. Self-incurred is this ignorance when the cause lies not in a lack of access, but in the comfort of settling for the answer instead of asking why. Sapere aude! Have courage to make use of your own intellect, with AI at your side, not in your place!
